01 Acceptance of these terms

By accessing our website or app, creating an account, or booking a companion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use InstaSetu's services.

02 What InstaSetu is — and isn't

InstaSetu connects you with independent, verified companions who assist with personal shopping, errands, queue standby, hospital and clinic visits, railway and airport pickups/drops, event-day support, and related tasks, as described on our Services page.

InstaSetu is a facilitator that matches you with a companion and processes payment for the companion's time and service fee. We are not a retailer, courier, logistics carrier, medical provider, or travel agent, and we do not manufacture, sell, or guarantee any goods a companion purchases or carries on your behalf.

03 Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use InstaSetu.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide — name, phone number, addresses, and payment details — and for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

04 Bookings, pricing & payment

• Service pricing is shown in the app before you confirm a booking, based on the service type, estimated duration, and distance. Final charges may vary slightly based on actual time taken, as shown in the booking summary.
• Payment for InstaSetu's service fee is collected through our in-app payment gateway. Where a companion pays a vendor directly on your behalf (for example, buying groceries or paying a courier), you separately reimburse that amount to the companion or pre-fund it through the app, as shown at booking.
• You're responsible for the cost of any goods, tickets, or services the companion purchases on your instructions — InstaSetu's fee covers the companion's time and coordination only.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

05 Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation windows, applicable fees, and refund timelines are set out in full in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: cancellations made with reasonable notice before a scheduled booking are generally free; late cancellations or no-shows may attract a fee to compensate the companion for reserved time.

06 Companion verification & conduct

Every companion completes the ID verification and background-check process described on our Trust & Safety page before accepting bookings. Companions are independent service providers, not InstaSetu employees. We require all companions to follow our code of conduct; you can report any concern about a companion's behaviour through the app or our Contact page, and we investigate every report.

07 Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup/drop locations, task details, and any special instructions (for example, dietary or medical information relevant to a task) at the time of booking.
• Treat your companion with courtesy and respect — the same standard we hold companions to toward you.
• Make funds for any purchases available to the companion as agreed, and settle the final bill promptly through the app.
• Not ask a companion to purchase, carry, or handle anything illegal, prohibited, or that would put them at risk.

08 Goods purchased on your behalf

Where a companion purchases goods on your instructions (for example, groceries, medicines, or event supplies), that purchase is made directly between you and the third-party vendor. InstaSetu is not a party to that sale, and any issue with the quality, condition, pricing, or return of those goods should be resolved with the vendor. Companions will follow your instructions and reasonable judgment in your absence, but InstaSetu does not guarantee the outcome of any such purchase.

09 Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InstaSetu's total liability arising out of or relating to a booking is limited to the service fee paid for that specific booking. InstaSetu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, for delays caused by traffic, weather, vendor availability, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, or for the condition, quality, or legality of goods purchased by a companion on your instructions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including in cases of proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct on InstaSetu's part.

10 Prohibited use

You agree not to use InstaSetu to:

• Request the purchase, transport, or handling of illegal goods, weapons, or controlled substances
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against a companion
• Attempt to circumvent in-app payment to avoid applicable fees
• Misuse, scrape, or reverse-engineer the InstaSetu app or website
• Provide false identity, location, or payment information

We may suspend or terminate access for any account found violating this section.

11 Intellectual property

The InstaSetu name, logo, app, and website content are owned by [REGISTERED_BUSINESS_NAME] and protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or use our branding or content without written permission.

12 Suspension & termination

You may stop using InstaSetu and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or pose a risk to a companion's safety. Where possible, we'll notify you of the reason.

13 Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of InstaSetu will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi NCR, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law, including recourse to consumer dispute redressal forums.

14 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with an updated effective date, and for material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Continuing to use InstaSetu after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
